Seven Borders players from Melrose
and Gala have been selected for the Scotland Club International
squad to take on Scotland U20 at Murrayfield's back pitches on
Thursday night. The game will be a warm-up for the two tests
against France and Ireland over the coming weeks.
Graeme Dodds, Gary Holborn, Fraser
Thomson and Andrew Skeen from Melrose are included along with Gala's
Gregor Hunter, George Graham and Lee Millar, while a former Melrose
and Peebles player, Callum Anderson, who now plys his trade at
Aberdeen Grammar, is also in the 26-man squad.
Thomson, Anderson, Hunter and Dodds
will start against Scotland U20. The first international is on
February 24th against France at Millbrae. |
The second game will take place at
Donnybrook against Ireland on March 9th.
