The 54-22 win puts them immediately at the top of the table ahead of another home fixture next weekend when they face Boroughmuir. Sam Pecqueur, Russell Anderson, Grant Runciman, Ross McCann and Ally Miller scored the others. Over at Mansfield Park the scoreboard told its own story, with Hawick losing heavily at home to Currie 28-39, and despite getting a try bonus point this was a big disappointment for their start to the season. Darcy Graham once again showed his class in touching down for a superb try out wide, with Kyle Brunton, a Penalty Try and a touchdown by Ross Combe adding to their tally.
